We are frequent world wide travellers, the customer service we have received from before arriving to leaving is outstanding, in fact I would go as far as saying the best.
Had an amazing weekend with friends at the Lodge.The Lodge overlooks the Crocodile river, into the Kruger National Park and we witnessed a herd of elephants cooling off, a small hippo family and a lone crocodile from the deck by the river bank. Really felt welcome as the team greets you with a big and friendly "Welcome home". The staff was amazing and friendly, the team went above and beyond for us.
Great accommodation, perfect location, not far to the crocodile gate. Very friendly, full day or half day safari (early or afternoon) can be booked directly on site. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Good value for money. Animals move right in front of the property. We were lucky to see a group of buffaloes, a lion, kudus, a giraffe, etc... Just great! Anytime again!
This place is perfect if you want to be far away from the city. We enjoyed our stay, the staff is very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. And the food, oh my! I couldn’t stop praising the chefs. Keep up the wonderful work, I highly recommend Bucklers Africa Lodge. We are definitely coming back next year.
Beautiful Lodge on the Crocodile River. Many animals and herds of elephants everyday. Wonderful staff, amazing views, lovely linen, huge very comfortable bed, big flat screen tv, good selection of channels. Very good free wifi. Great aircon.
Buckler’s Africa Lodge was amazing. The halal restaurant, beautiful rooms with thoughtful touches, and excellent food were highlights. The safari breakfast packs were perfect, and our private safari, just 5 minutes from Crocodile Gate, was a bonus. Lucia the host was even gracious enough to lend me her binoculars. With stunning views of the Crocodile River and animals like elephants and hippos, it was the perfect getaway. Highly recommend!
Buckler’s never disappoints. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The view of the river is beautiful and the staff are amazing. The staff go out of their way to make your stay more comfortable. Nothing is too much for them. We will definitely be back.
I got a lovely room with views of the Crocodile River. I love their bring your own bottle policy. Komatipoort Town and Kruger are a short drive away. The rooms are modern and well appointed. The kitchen is fully equipped and the views are out of this world - you will always dine with hippos and elephants.
Staff were very accommodating. Food was amazing. Facilities were clean. Overall lovely, relaxing and enjoyable.
The property is modern and tastefully decorated. It’s a mere 5 minute drive from the Kruger, Crocodile Bridge gate, especially if you want to be at the gate when it opens. Food is strictly Halaal, breakfast was excellent and well presented. We did not have dinner in the restaurant as we opted to Braai ourselves. The staff were very friendly, made us feel welcome from the time we arrived until our departure. Thank you.

Rooms are very spacious and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Food was excellent and service from all the staff was amazing. The view from the deck was special.
