Activities & Experiences

Buckler’s Africa by BON Hotels offers half day and full day safaris into the world famous Kruger National Park. For those not keen on sitting still for so long, drives from Crocodile bridge gate can be organised with the park directly. These drives are 3 hours long and happen 3 times a day; in the morning, afternoon and evening.

Experience the thrill of Tiger fishing. Follow the picturesque Komati River upstream in search of the illusive Tiger fish. These fish are known for their sporting nature and guaranteed to be a memorable experience even if you come home empty handed.  Tiger fishing must be booked no less than 24 hours in advance.

Enjoy all that the Komati River has to offer by going on a Sunset Cruise, watch hippos, crocodiles and birds in their natural habitat.

Get your adrenaline fix while you explore nature from a birds eye perspective with a highly trained instructor. Flights are 15 mins or more, and worth every second.

Get up close to these incredible creatures as you learn about them from their handlers. If you want to experience Africa from a different dynamic, sit on the back of one of these giants and explore their world.

Relax and unwind in style at a nearby Spa for that ultimate relaxed holiday feeling.

Explore a nature reserve on a 4 wheeler and check off 2 lifetime ambitions at once. Follow a guide as you embark on your adventure through the bush. Spot animals and tracks as you experience being closer to nature.

Enjoy a completely different experience with game viewing from the back of a horse. Explore a predator free reserve from the saddle and enjoy animals as they would be without a vehicle present.

Enjoy a day relaxing by the swimming pool.  Swimming is regularly paused as guests leap to their feet to watch the special moments as baby elephants or a thirsty pride of lions, come to drink on the bank of the Crocodile River.

Skukuza

We are within easy distance of the Skukuza 9 hole golf course. Established in 1972 this course is unfenced within the Kruger National Park.

Kambaku

We are also very close to Kambaku Golf course, first opened in 2001. This course is set to challenge any level of golfer and is set with spectacular scenery.
